Professor and Associate Dean

Professor Saunders joined the Faculty as a founding member in 1976, after teaching at the Universities of Saskatchewan and Illinois.  He currently teaches Torts and Restitution (Unjust Enrichment), while his research interests span the private law of obligations, with particular emphasis on the law of remedies, including personal injury litigation. He is a former consultant to the Law Reform Commissions of Canada and Saskatchewan, and his writing has been cited in numerous judicial decisions, including judgments in the Supreme Court of Canada.  He was appointed Associate Dean in July 2008.
