Congratulations to Zainab Khan!

We are thrilled to announce that Zainab Khan, a BRAIN CREATE PhD student in Neuroscience, has been awarded the 2024 Alberta Immigrant Impact Award-Young Leader by the Government of Alberta. Zainab has made significant contributions to her community in Alberta, excelling in leadership and advocacy.

In addition to receiving the prestigious Women of Distinction Award in 2023, Zainab co-founded TAKMIL, a project that has improved education for over 5,000 children in Pakistan. Her dedication to empowering women and enhancing education has made a lasting impact, and we are proud to recognize her achievements.
